Description

4-Terpene alcohols are found naturally in turpentine, lavender oil, and many fruits. Liquid, with spicy, earthy, green and woody aromas. It is prepared by hydration of dilute sulfuric acid from cypressene, or by photo-oxidation, hydrogenation reduction and selective hydrogenation of isoterpinene. Acute toxicity data: Oral Chemicalbook LD50 (rat) > 1.3g/kg skin test LD50 (rabbit) > 2.5g/kg Application: used as a skin care lotion ingredient, bath milk ingredient; used as a mint ingredient and other food additives; antibacterial agent intermediate body; preservative intermediate; rose oil, geranium oil formula flavoring ingredients.
