Price trend

On March 8th, the performance of adipic acid in the East China region was weak, and the price decreased by 100-200 RMB/ton compared to the beginning of the week.

Analysis review

Distributors tended to follow the market and prioritized low quotations for shipments. The price of raw material pure benzene had been sluggish, and the cost performance was weak. As of March 8th, the pressure on supply and demand was average, and manufacturers were still in the process of reducing inventory. Downstream pre holiday stocking wss still ongoing, and supply and demand remained stable. On March 8th, the mainstream market prices were: 9,850-9,900 RMB/ton for Shandong sources and 9,900-9,950 RMB/ton for Jiangsu sources.

Market outlook
