Description

Myristoyl Chloride is a building block that has been used to form esters on rubber wood. Esterification reduces crystalinity of wood and reduces light0induced color changes (phot-yellowing ) at wood surfaces. Myristoyl Chloride has also been used in the modification of isophalate-PEG copolymers to make amphiphilic copolymers as nanocarriers for drug delivery.
